For eg: When the new f4se comes out and and the mods that rely on f4se are updated can i just switch back to the latest fallout4. That's what i do i roll it back and wait for everything to catch up. 
You can roll back your game with steam console To version 1.10.50 and continue playing Till F4SE & the mods catch up to the update To fallout 4 1.10.64.0 F4SE Then reinstall /update them also Then your have to wait for all the mods your using F4SE in to update from fallout 4 1.10.50. when they do download the new version of F4SE They will update F4SE as soon as they can for the current game version. so it won't work along with the mods that need it F4SE is currently for game version 1.10.50.
